12 months Temporary full-time

$135,869 - $146,318 package includes base salary ($119,706 - $128,912) per annum plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role                 

The Data Analytics Engineer position is responsible for delivering back-end data solutions using modern technologies, developing, troubleshooting, optimising, and refactoring data pipelines to meet evolving business and analytical needs as an agile team member.

In this role, you will develop and maintain data solutions using cloud-scale data processing technologies, working collaboratively with users to understand data logic, structures, and how information is presented in databases and analytical outputs.

You will also engage with cross-functional teams in technical discussions, design and code reviews, and contribute expertise during requirements analysis to ensure the solutions are both fit for purpose and scalable.

About You 

To be successful in this role you will have:-

• Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
• Competent in data-centric programming and cloud-scale data processing using emerging big data technologies

Highly Regarded:-

• Experience in Azure Databricks and Python
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with diverse technical and non-technical business stakeholders, translating complex requirements into reusable data solutions
