About the role
The Contracts Manager role is responsible for leading the strategic management of facilities contracted services to ensure high‑quality, compliant and value‑for‑money outcomes across TAFE NSW. Working closely with Corporate Procurement, Regional Facilities Managers and key stakeholders, you will develop and implement a coordinated contracted services management approach supported by robust processes, systems, agreements and performance measures aligned to the facilities service delivery model.
You will provide leadership in contract performance monitoring, financial oversight and continuous improvement, using data‑driven insights to inform decision‑making and optimise service delivery. The role also leads contract renewals and modifications, supports facilities teams with specialist advice, and drives consistent statewide contract management practices in a complex and evolving operating environment. With a strong focus on safety excellence, customer outcomes and people leadership, you will build high‑performing teams and ensure contracted services consistently meet operational, compliance and business requirements.
About you

You hold a relevant degree qualification or equivalent significant experience, along with a valid NSW Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain one prior to commencement. You bring a strategic mindset combined with a practical, outcomes‑focused approach to managing contracts that support operational and business objectives.
You have demonstrated experience managing a diverse portfolio of contracts, ensuring performance standards, compliance and value‑for‑money outcomes are consistently achieved. You are skilled in designing and implementing robust contract management governance frameworks and continuous improvement strategies, using data, insights and structured processes to lift performance, manage risk and improve service delivery outcomes across facilities or service‑based environments.
