About the role

The Finance Business Partner plays a key role in an integrated Finance Business Partnering team that enables TAFE's strategic priorities and drives sustainable financial performance and value creation.

In this role, you will support senior business stakeholders as a trusted advisor, partnering with organisation teams to turn insights into clear recommendations and actions. The position is actively involved in driving financial management processes including funding, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. It also provides critical support to key financial and operational decision-making, with close contact with executive and non-executive leaders.

About you 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Degree qualification in related field; Membership of recognised professional accounting association (at member or associate level); and relevant skills, knowledge and experience
  • Strong knowledge of, and experience working with finance systems for the purposes of creating insights and recommendations
  • Strong experience in finance business partnering and advanced analytic skills with demonstrated experience translating insights into implementable recommendations
  • Stakeholder engagements skills, building trusted partnerships to optimise business outcomes
  • A proven track record of driving continuous improvement across finance business partnering practices.
  • Meet the focus capabilities for the role set out in the Role Description
  • A valid Working with Children Check (required prior to commencement)
