About the role
TAFE NSW is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our Course Development and Quality team as Associate Director Educational Governance and Compliance. This role is central to ensuring the integrity and excellence of our educational offerings across Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Higher Education.

You will lead the development and implementation of governance, quality assurance, and compliance frameworks, working collaboratively with Faculty, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders. Your leadership will support consistent educational standards, enhance student outcomes, and uphold TAFE NSW’s reputation for academic quality.

This is a high-impact role that requires strong stakeholder engagement, data-informed decision-making, and a commitment to continuous improvement. If you are passionate about shaping educational quality and driving compliance excellence, we invite you to be part of our dynamic and purpose-driven team.

About You

You bring a collaborative leadership style and a deep understanding of the VET and Higher Education sectors, along with a proven ability to influence policy, drive continuous improvement, and deliver high-quality outcomes.

You meet all essential requirements and in addition you must be prepared to submit a Fit & Proper Persons Declaration prior to appointment. This ensures alignment with regulatory standards and reinforces TAFE NSW’s commitment to integrity and excellence in education. Your ability to lead with purpose, engage stakeholders, and uphold academic standards will be key to your success in this role.
