Location negotiable across TAFE NSW (pending campus availability)

Temporary Full time until 30 June 2026

Base salary $128,284 - $141,600 per annum plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and leave loading

About the role
As an Asset Data Architect, you will play a central role in shaping and maintaining TAFE NSW’s enterprise data architecture and governance frameworks. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure data is accurate, secure, and strategically aligned.  This role involves designing and implementing scalable data models, developing information management standards, and supporting the full data lifecycle, including integration, warehousing, reporting, and compliance. Your work will help future-proof TAFE NSW’s data environment and drive innovation in service delivery.

About You
You are a strategic thinker with a passion for data and a proven ability to design and implement robust information architecture solutions. With demonstrated expertise in data modelling, information analysis, and data quality practices, you thrive in complex environments and are confident navigating the challenges of large-scale data management.  Your ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions, coupled with your knowledge of data governance, integration, and lifecycle management, makes you a key contributor to driving digital transformation at TAFE NSW.

To be successful in this role, you must meet all essential requirements, including:

  • Proven expertise in information and data architecture, including data modelling, information analysis, and application requirements analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of data quality practices and experience across information management activities such as data integration, warehousing, business intelligence, metadata, master data, reporting, and lifecycle management.
