Early Childhood Education Traineeship

Temporary full-time 

$54,202. Package includes salary ($47,969 - $50,463) and employer's contribution to superannuation, and annual leave loading

What does a traineeship involve? 

The Public Sector Apprentices and Trainee Program will implement the NSW Government's commitment to employ an additional 1000 apprentices and trainees across NSW Government agencies until 30 June 2026. More information can be found here

What traineeships do we have available? 

We have an Early Childhood Traineeship opportunity available, offering hands-on experience in a supportive learning environment, working with young children to foster their development and well-being. Trainees will gain practical skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and structured educational programs. This role is ideal for enthusiastic individuals passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a positive impact on young lives. Click here to see more information  

This position is available at the following TAFE Children's Centre locations: Albury, Narrandera, Mt Druitt, Bankstown, Blacktown, Nepean, Granville, Wagga Wagga and Wetherill Park.

Can you apply if you hold a VET or higher education qualification? 

  • Yes, if the VET or higher education qualification is in a different area of study to the traineeship you are applying for.  

  • Yes, if your current qualification is in the same area of study but is a lower qualification level then the traineeship you are applying for.
