About the role

We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of students!  

Share your skills and passion for your industry, build the skills, qualifications, and employability, and support the career goals of our students. We have one full-time permanent position available working at our Moruya Campus.

You will help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. In addition, you will facilitate learning by delivering world-class educational programs, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes. In your role, you will:

·    Teach students face-to-face in classrooms and online

·    Issue, mark and provide comprehensive feedback on assessments

·    Undertake student administration, including marking registers and recording results

·    Maintain relationships with local industry professionals and employers

About You

You will have:

1.   A recognised* Bachelor degree (AQF 7) with a Maths focus

2.  Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in teaching within this discipline

3.  Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training. See the candidate support document (here) for details

4.  Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.

Highly regarded

  • Experience in teaching maths in a multi-level classroom
  • Experience teaching in a connected learning environment
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work within teams
