About the role

This position is responsible for preparing, designing/constructing, demonstrating, and maintaining various equipment, technology, instruments, and /or other resources to support the practical aspects of student learning, dependent on the nature of the applicable course skills area. The role supports the preparation and maintenance of learning environments to meet specific technical purposes and performs a range of associated administration and support activities to assist in education program delivery.

This is a Permanent Part Time Part Year role, 14 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.

About You 

To be considered for this role you need to meet the following essential requirements:

  • Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience appropriate to the Health, Pathology, and Nursing sectors.
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge and experience in the use, care, and maintenance of tools, equipment, materials, and techniques in the Health, Pathology, and Nursing sectors.
  • Proven ability to create, modify, or adapt equipment or other resources to meet requirements
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to work as a team member with minimal supervision
