Base salary $108,494- $116,838 p.a employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Analyst – Training Segments within the Strategy and Research team, the Planning and Research Officer (internally known as Planning Research Analyst) is responsible for undertaking comprehensive research and analysis to support the provision of evidence-based advice to inform TAFE NSW skills planning. In this role you will apply your research, analytical, communication and organisational skills to deliver multifaceted industry, demographic and skills analysis that takes account of the dynamic education and training landscape, as along with the evolving labour market and emerging industry trends.

Preferred location is Ultimo however negotiable within the Sydney region. Hybrid options combining virtual and campus-based work are also available. 

About You 

You’ll possess strong written communication, analytical and desktop research skills, with an ability to uncover key insights that address critical skills and training objectives for multiple industries. You will be experienced in providing advice and recommendations to inform planning based on your research and analysis of multiple and complex sources of information. You will also be comfortable with interpreting and drawing insights from qualitative and quantitative data, applying your independent and critical thinking skills.
