Great Lakes Campus

Permanent Part-Time Part-Year (15 hours per week for 41 weeks per year)

Base Salary of $66,212 - $73,085 p.a. plus employers’ contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (pro-rata)

About the role

Join our dynamic team as a Technical Assistant where you will actively support teaching staff in delivering assessments, training, and practical tasks. Prepare materials and equipment to enhance educational delivery, maintain tools and facilities, and ensure compliance with Work, Health, and Safety standards. Leverage your fine arts expertise and proactive approach to manage resources and uphold high standards in fine arts systems and maintenance.

About You

Bring your passion for the fine arts industry and strong organisational skills to our team. Your ability to work both independently and collaboratively, paired with excellent customer service, will ensure success in this dynamic role. Essential requirements as follows:

  • Experience in maintaining stores and fine arts equipment
  • Ability to service, clean, repair, and operate workshop machinery
  • Practical, administrative, and computer skills for maintenance and record-keeping
  • Trade qualifications appropriate to the role in Fine Arts (Certificate III) and/or relevant industry experience
  • Possession of or willingness to obtain prior to commencement of employment, the following: 
    • Valid Working with Children Check
    • First aid certificate
    • Forklift license
    • Electrical tag and test certificate
