About the role

We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Hospitality, Food and Beverage students!  

TAFE NSW is looking for an individual with current industry experience and knowledge in Hospitality Food and Beverage to join our team of teachers on a casual basis. This position will be based at the Bega or Cooma Campuses.

About You 

If you are interested in sharing your talents in Hospitality, Food & Beverage by teaching the next generation, then this is the role for you.

The role of the TAFE teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.

You will have:

  • Certificate III or above in Hospitality
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in Hospitality Supervision, gained no longer than five years previously.
  • Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.

Highly Regarded

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) & Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG)
  • Experience in various food and beverage establishments.
