About The Role

The Institute of Applied Technology (IAT) is transforming vocational education by delivering innovative, industry-aligned training that prepares students for the jobs of tomorrow. We are seeking passionate and experienced educators to join our team as Casual Teachers across a range of specialist areas.
As a Casual Teacher, you will design and deliver engaging learning experiences that enable students to achieve their goals. You will prepare and deliver online lessons, assess student progress, and maintain compliance with organisational standards. You’ll also collaborate with industry and community stakeholders to ensure training remains relevant and responsive to emerging needs. Please note, casual teaching hours are ad-hoc and there is no guarantee of regular or ongoing work.

About You
You are an experienced professional with strong subject knowledge and vocational qualifications in a digital skills discipline, complemented by at least three years of recent industry experience. Your ability to communicate effectively across diverse educational and industry settings, combined with excellent organisational skills, ensures you can create a positive and productive learning environment. You thrive in collaborative settings, demonstrate a strong customer service ethos, and possess problem-solving skills that support change and innovation.
