Temporary Part Time (17.5 hours per week) up to July 2026

Base salary $108,057 package includes salary ($95,630 - $113,411), employer's contribution to superannuation, and leave loading

About the role

Bring your current industry experience and knowledge in Community Services and join our vibrant team of Teachers in this maternity backfill opportunity, which is temporary part time (17.5 hpw) up to July 2026, at our Nirimba campus.

TAFE Teachers are professional educators who help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The successful candidate in this role will deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, enabling students to achieve their best outcomes.

About You

We are looking for a passionate and engaged individual who has the ability to meet the following Essential Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum of level of a Degree in Community Services or equivalent qualification.
  • Hold the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent. 
  • Have a minimum of three (3) years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
  • Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.

This is a child-related position. A Working with Children Check is a prerequisite for anyone in child-related work. It involves a national criminal history check and review of findings of workplace misconduct.

An eligibility list, valid for 18 months, may be created for this position, and position(s) of the same classification that subsequently becomes vacant, may be filled via this recruitment.
