About the role

We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Biomedical Pathology Collection students by joining our team of teachers temporary full-time until August 2027. The position is located at either Granville, Blacktown or Campbelltown however travel is required between all 3 campuses.

This role is responsible for delivering and assessing training for the Certificate III and Certificate IV in Pathology Collection, Certificate III in Pathology Collection Assistance, and Certificate III and Certificate IV in Health Administration supporting students to build practical skills and industry-ready capability.

About You

We are looking for a passionate and engaged individual who meets the following Essential Requirements:  

1. Must hold one or more of the following qualifications:

1. -Certificate III in Pathology Collection

   -Diploma of Pathology Technology (or equivalent)

   -Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science or equivalent)

   -Certificate III or Certificate IV in Health Administration

   -Diploma of Practice Management

2. Have a minimum of five years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
3. Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
4. Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
