About the Centres of Excellence (CoE)

The TAFE NSW Centres of Excellence bring together the Construction Centre of Excellence, the Manufacturing Centres of Excellence, and the Institute of Applied Technology (IAT) Digital, a National Centre of Excellence, to support industry-led innovation, workforce development and skills excellence across priority sectors.

Through partnerships with industry, government, training providers and higher education institutions, the Centres develop and deliver industry-aligned education, applied research, and innovative workforce solutions that respond to current and emerging skills needs. About the Role

TAFE NSW is seeking to fill two Student Recruitment Advisor positions, commencing in October 2026 and based at either the Kingswood or Meadowbank campus.

As a Student Recruitment Advisor, you'll play a key role in helping prospective students take the next step in their education and career journey. Working across multiple channels, you'll provide accurate course information, guidance and support to help students find the right course and enrol with confidence. You'll manage a high volume of enquiries, contribute to recruitment campaigns, build positive relationships with customers, and work collaboratively with internal teams to maximise enrolment outcomes and deliver an exceptional student experience.

About You

You are a customer-focused professional with experience in sales, customer service or contact centre environments. You have excellent communication skills, enjoy building rapport with people from diverse backgrounds, and can confidently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. You bring strong administrative and digital skills, pay close attention to detail, and are motivated by achieving targets while delivering outstanding service. Adaptable, resilient and solutions-focused, you thrive on helping people make informed decisions and achieve their goals.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Certificate IV in relevant discipline OR equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Experience providing advice, information and assistance to customers across multiple channels in a sales contact centre environment or similar, to achieve high levels of customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform a range of administration and sales related support activities including use of contact centre related technology, systems and processes to support data and customer relationship management.
  • Demonstrated capability to listen, interpret and convey product related information in a clear, accurate and appropriate manner, responsive to customer needs in a high volume work environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as per business requirements.

Highly Regarded

  • Demonstrated ability to convert enquiries and leads into enrolments through confident, consultative conversations.
  • Experience managing prospective students through the full recruitment journey, from initial enquiry through to application and enrolment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to engage effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience working toward individual and team KPIs, including conversion, activity, service and quality targets.
