Permanent Full Time  

Total Remuneration Package $178,647, includes a base salary of $158,152 plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

About the role

This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and Essential8. It involves overseeing adherence to TAFE cybersecurity policies and the NSW Government Cyber Security Policy. The aim is to ensure that TAFE NSW effectively manages its compliance with legal and regulatory obligations. Additionally, the role includes conducting assessments and reviews, as well as developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies, frameworks, policies, and guidelines.

In this role, you will provide advice and guidance to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations. You will also develop cybersecurity strategies, policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure the physical and electronic security of automated systems. Additionally, you will conduct regular research and evaluations that include forensic analysis and the identification of emerging cybersecurity threats. Your task will be to assess the most appropriate strategies and techniques to manage risks effectively.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:-

  1. Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
  2. Demonstrated experience in working in a cyber security environment and an awareness of current trends in IT security management.

Highly Regarded: Knowledge of ISO 27001, NSW CSP, PCI DSS will be highly regarded.
