SAP Senior Analyst

Location negotiable across NSW (pending campus availability)

Multiple positions – temporary full-time (35 hours per week) to 30 June 2026

$128,069 package includes salary ($112,834 – $121,512), employer’s superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

This position is responsible for delivering analytical support and Level 2 (escalation) and Level 3 (complex problem resolution) support for various SAP platforms and interfaces. The role supports a range of activities, including business requirements analysis and documentation, testing coordination, and managing the business impact of system changes.

TAFE NSW is seeking four Analyst roles as follows:

  • 1x Senior SAP ESS (Employee Self Service) / MSS (Manager Self Service) Analyst
  • 1x Senior SAP PA (Personnel Administration) / OM (Organisation Management) Analyst
  • 1x Senior SAP TLM (Time & Leave Management) Analyst
  • 1x Senior SAP Security GRC (Governance, Risk & Control) Administrator

About You 

The successful candidate will need to meet the essential requirements of the position which are outlined in the position description linked below. For each relevant SAP Senior Analyst position the following are highly regarded criteria:

For each of the Senior SAP ESS/MSS, PA/OM, TLM Analyst positions

  • Providing senior level consulting and solution services to the business in designing, implementing and supporting SAP HR ESS/MSS, or PA/OM, or TLM systems and related services
  • Highly experienced in analytical support and troubleshooting of production incidents. Adept at configuring, developing, enhancing, testing and implementing SAP HR ESS/MSS, or PA/OM, or TLM services and solutions
  • Providing ongoing technical support and training to end users, and creating and maintaining documentation for the ESS/MSS, or PA/OM, or TLM processes and configurations

Specifically for the Senior SAP GRC Administrator position

  • Extensive experience in managing day-to-day SAP security activities including role design, user management and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of SAP processes, including roles, segregation of duties, and security with HR, Finance and BW systems
  • Hands-on experience in user creation, modifications and troubleshooting authorisation errors
  • Conduct of security audits, creating transport requests, maintaining and managing comprehensive documentation of security policies and procedures ensuring compliance with TAFE policies and financial controls
