Project Manager

$198,784 package includes base salary $176,043 per annum plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role
The Project Manager position is responsible for leading the planning, organisation and control of significant complex projects and sub projects spanning the full continuum of initiation/design and implementation in relation to designated business strategies to meet project objectives, and enable TAFE NSW to achieve its strategic goals, business benefits and outcomes.
Day-to-day would involve risk/issue management, schedule management, project status reporting, reporting to the project control board, working with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders to ensure the execution of work required to meet the project objectives.
The successful candidate will bring strong business and technical acumen to develop and execute strategies for data centre rationalisation. This includes assessing the current infrastructure footprint, identifying opportunities to decommission, refactor, or migrate applications, and guiding platform teams in their transition to public cloud or managed data centres using industry best practices. Proven expertise in environment management, cloud migration planning, and optimisation, combined with the ability to collaborate effectively with platform teams, is essential to delivering successful outcomes.
About You
You have prior experience managing a project through its life cycle to the end. You bring excellent communication skills and able to manage competing priorities and diverse stakeholders needs in an evolving operating environment through collaborative approach. You have strong analytical thinking along with demonstrated project management skills.
