About the role.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Professional Officer is responsible for the provision of a range of high-level executive, secretariat, and project support services.

You will collaborate with the Executive team and key stakeholders to support service delivery and strategy implementation, managing communications to support the achievement of TAFE NSW strategic and operational objectives.

Acting as the point of contact for the Managing Director, you will provide specialised advice and support on a wide range of sensitive, confidential, and urgent matters to support effective business relationships and the delivery of timely and appropriate responses.

About you.

You are a highly motivated and organised individual with experience providing high-level executive administration or business management support within public sector or educational environments.

Your disciplined administration skills are a key strength, along with demonstrated governance experience in fast paced and challenging environments.

You can confidently anticipate and address contentious issues and provide advice on complex issues and legislation within tight timeframes, all whilst maintaining confidentiality and exercising diplomacy.
