Location negotiable across NSW (subject to campus availability)
Temporary full-time until 30 June 2026
$141,364 package includes base salary ($124,547- $137,476) per annum plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role
The Network Engineer is responsible for overseeing a large program of network installations, as well as monitoring and maintaining the organisations Digital Solutions Group network and transitioning to new network hardware and software, and maintaining and upgrading existing systems, as necessary.
About You
As a key member of the project team, you will provide engineering and design support and leadership for the project team and team members and champion the strategy, roadmap, and architecture across the campus network. We are seeking a capable and energetic IT professional to join our team where you will apply your industry knowledge to secure, innovate, and build strategies that will foster and facilitate the exciting network transformation program involving new Wi-fi and Switching and a change or network topologies to enrich and improve our services to our TAFE NSW staff and students.
Highly Regarded
Wi-Fi design experience across site surveys, RF planning, capacity analysis, 802.1x, EAP-TLS, NAC and policies
Experience in development and support for network macro and micro segmentation
Experience in development and support for Zero Trust Security Architecture
