Base Salary $70,168 - $91,675 p.a. plus employers’ contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

As a Librarian at TAFE NSW, you’ll play a crucial role in empowering our diverse student body by providing top-notch information literacy instruction and support, both in-person and online.

You’ll be at the forefront of delivering and promoting innovative, customer-focused library services that are key to our students’ educational success. 

We currently have the following positions on immediate offer:

  • Permanent, part-time (0.5FTE/17.5hrs) at Nepean, Kingswood Campus
  • Permanent, part-time (0.4FTE/14hrs) at Bankstown Campus
  • Temporary, full-time until January 2026 at The Hills Campus

About You 

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated professional who is passionate about library and information services.

If you meet the following criteria, we want to hear from you:

  • Qualifications: Eligible for Associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) with an ALIA-accredited library and information science qualification.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of library and information service concepts, principles, and theory.
  • Tech-Savvy: Understanding of library systems, practices, procedures, and current developments, with the ability to support evolving library technologies. Digital Literacy and AI expertise and the ability to support this knowledge and development in others.
  • Adaptable: Willingness to travel as needed to meet business requirements.
