Injury Management Technical Specialist

Location negotiable across NSW (depending TAFE NSW campus availability)

Temporary Full-time until June 2025

$122,593 package includes salary ($108,494 - $116,838), employer's superannuation and annual leave loading.

About the role

This position collaborates closely with the business to implement employee centred programs aimed at fostering a safe workplace and enhancing and restoring the health of employees across TAFE NSW. The position provides technical expertise and guidance through effective injury management, applying early intervention strategies and resolves challenges to workers compensation matters.

About You 

To succeed in this role, you will have a solid background in managing complex workers' compensation claims and assisting employees through best practice initiatives. By working closely with a motivated and supportive team, you will apply your expertise in Workers Compensation and Workplace Injury Management to help develop, implement, and improve processes and procedures, while also supporting the resolution of complex workers' compensation issues.

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in evaluating and advising on injury management and workers compensation cases within the framework of the Workers Compensation Act 1987 and Workplace Injury Management and Compensation Act 1998
  • A valid Working with Children’s Check (required prior to commencing)

Highly Regarded:
