Temporary Full-time until June 2025
$135,320 package includes salary ($119,757 - $132,188p.a) plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role
The complex claims specialist provides expertise in complex injury management cases and partners closely with the business to develop and implement employee centred programs to create a safe workplace and apply early intervention strategies to address challenges relation to workers compensation and injury management matters.
About You
You are a compassionate and experienced professional with a strong understanding of compliance requirements and standards of practice from Insurance and Care NSW, the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA), and SafeWork.
You will have a solid working knowledge of the Workers Compensation Act 1987 and the Workplace Injury Management and Compensation Act 1998.
You can demonstrate a high level of empathy and professionalism in handling sensitive cases, ensuring that clients receive the support and assistance they need during challenging times.
Highly Regarded
Experience in managing medically complex, litigated or severe injury claims, will be highly regarded.

This is a child-related position. A Working with Children Check is a prerequisite for anyone in child-related work. It involves a national criminal history check and review of findings of workplace misconduct.

Location is negotiable across our TAFE NSW campuses. Please note your preferred campus location is not guaranteed and is subject to campus availability at the time of offer.
Please note that TAFE NSW will shut down over the Christmas and New Year holiday period from Monday 23 December 2024 to Friday 3 January 2025. Normal business hours will resume from Monday 6 January 2025.
