About the role
We are seeking casual General Assistants with a trade background and knowledge of tools and equipment used in workshops for locations in Orange, Cowra, and Dubbo.
A General Assistant Toolstore Person is responsible for providing high level customer service to enhance the effective and efficient delivery of frontline class support. Your day-to-day activities will include but not limited to supporting students by contributing to a positive learning experience, general administration work, purchasing and organising tools, equipment and materials for students and staff. This position will carry out manual handling activities to ensure a clean and safe workshop for students.
About You
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual who is passionate about education and hands-on learning. As a self-starter, you will actively support outcomes and classroom delivery. Your enthusiasm for sharing industry knowledge and experience will inspire others. You will have demonstrated experience in a trade environment, proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools, and capable of performing minor repairs and maintenance.
