About the role

The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and delivering a diverse range of property and facilities services to a cluster of TAFE NSW sites through an in-house facilities team and a range of contracted services providers, ensuring high standards of performance, customer service, safety, administration and compliance in line with the facilities management operational plan and service delivery model. The Facilities Coordinator also provides support for broader regional facilities and asset management programs and initiatives to meet operational and service delivery objectives.

This position will be based at the Wagga Wagga campus. There will be travel requirements occasionally within 1 hour drive of the Wagga Wagga campus.

This is a temporary full-time role until 5th December 2025.

About You 

You will have qualifications within a relevant discipline and/or equivalent skills, knowledge or experience, including operational support, facilities management, repairs and maintenance work. You can work in demanding stations because you are adaptable, composed, and flexible. You are able to decide quickly on difficult problems that could have a significant effect on your immediate work area as well as externally and more broadly on agency operations.

You can communicate and work collaboratively to create a solid team that upholds connections with internal and external stakeholders. A proactive worker that recognises and adheres to safe work procedures while taking ownership of their activities. You are cautious of hazards and take necessary action or escalate them. You will have high level organisational skills and experience using the Microsoft Office Suite and similar software, particularly Excel.
