Temporary full-time (35 hours per week) until December 2026

Total remuneration package: $92,882, including base salary of $82,200, employer contribution to superannuation, and annual leave loading

About the role

TAFE NSW are seeking an Education Support Officer to work within our Automotive teaching team. The role is responsible supporting our Automotive students in their studies.

In the role, you will work closely to supplement and support teaching activities by providing follow-up instruction as directed by the teacher, along with providing opportunities for students to practise and reinforce their skills to enhance their learning experience and engagement.

About You

You will bring with you a passion to make a sustained and meaningful impact on industry and learners when sharing your subject knowledge expertise from industry and an appropriate vocational qualification.  

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Hold a Certificate III in Automotive or relevant skills or qualification
  • Have relevant post-qualification experience in the industry relevant to your qualification
  • Possess high-level interpersonal and communication skills, including your ability to be proactive and show initiative
