$93,299 salary package - includes base salary ($82,200), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

As an Education Support Officer, you’ll leverage your current industry knowledge and experience in the Ageing and Disability sector to support students and enhance their learning journey. Working alongside a team of passionate industry professionals, you’ll be supervised by the Head Teacher and collaborate closely with teachers to help students stay engaged, motivated, and on track to achieve their goals.  

About You

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Minimum qualification of a Certificate IV in Ageing and Disability.
  • Ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used in the discipline.
  • High-level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to be proactive and show initiative and ability to explain ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Commitment and ability to support learning in an adult environment and a demonstrated ability to motivate and encourage students.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and to provide quality customer service as part of a broader team.
  • Skills in the use of relevant information and communication technologies
