$ 216,278 salary package - includes base salary $ 190,867, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

The focus of the Digital Transformation Strategist role is to identify and analyse  organisation and sector strategic issues and align the technology vision with business strategy to guide the development, implementation and governance of ICT strategies going forward.

This role is a key interface between Digital Solutions Group Strategy and Enterprise Architecture and the wider business.   

This role is ongoing full time, with flexibility to work from one of over 150 TAFE NSW locations across the State.

About you 

As a Digital Transformation Strategist, you will have extensive experience in user centred design, strategy development, business process reform, and automation. Experience in pioneering change in a complex, fast-paced environment and can undertake high-level research and analysis to support digital innovation.  

You have impeccable communication skills, are analytical, organised and a natural problem solver. You enjoy building trusting relationships, collaborating and taking initiatives.  

To be successful in this role, you will have: -

  • Degree qualification in related field or equivalent significant industry experience.
  • Extensive experience in user centred design and proven strategy development experience.
  • Proven ability to undertake high-level research, horizon scanning and analysis to identify digital trends.
  • High-level of stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.

Highly regarded

  • Experience working in transformation programs applying digital innovation within the Education Sector or similar large multi-faceted organisations, such as NSW Public Sector, Education or Health  
  • Extensive experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder management  
  • Experience working on Business Cases and Policy Proposals to seek government funding.
