About the role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead the Learning and Teaching Group and oversee state-wide delivery of TAFE NSW’s education and training. Your leadership will ensure high-quality student learning experiences that meet industry needs.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the Learning and Teaching Group achieves its educational, social and financial objectives, whilst enabling TAFE NSW to fulfill its critical role - meeting the current and future education and training needs of students, industry, the community, government and key stakeholders.

About You 

You are a visionary leader who thrives in complexity and drives transformational change. Skilled at delivering a collaborative, customer-focused culture across a geographically dispersed workforce, you combine exceptional communication skills with a strategic, mindset. You embrace ambiguity and champion continuous improvement while managing a diverse network of internal and external stakeholders.

You bring:

  • Experience driving transformational change and achieving results in complex markets.
  • Experience successfully leading large teams in the delivery of education and training.
  • Extensive knowledge of education and training practice, with deep insight into contemporary evidence, trends, and sector challenges.

This is an ongoing, full time PSSE Band 3 role. The remuneration range for the PSSE Band 3 is $388,750 to $438,642 and will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
