$103,133 package includes salary ($91,272 - $98,291), employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

The Team Leader Delivery Implementation is responsible for managing a team dedicated to delivering customer-focused administration, student support, and operational activities at the Institute of Applied Technology (IAT). This role is crucial for ensuring a seamless student experience and supporting skills teams with essential processes and system-related tasks.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the administration team's activities and work allocation, building relationships within your team, as well as with IAT business partners and current and future students.

This role involves supervising and coordinating activities such as monitoring team KPIs, providing on-the-job training, conducting team meetings, managing performance to ensure effective team operations, involvement in student events and activations, and assist in providing class support. Additionally, the role requires coordinating team projects to maintain quality, compliance, and regulatory standards, thereby enhancing the overall customer experience.

The role provides a 35-hour work week with requirements to work evenings and occasional weekends, alongside the flexibility to arrange two days of remote work per week.  The successful candidate must be willing to travel to IAT Kingswood campus as required.

To excel in this role, you must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to lead, advise, and support your team effectively. Demonstrating sound judgment and decision-making abilities is crucial. Your strong relationship-building skills will enable you to connect with students, ensuring their continued engagement and satisfaction.

A positive demeanour will help you influence and foster a supportive environment. You'll leverage your problem-solving abilities to innovate and implement creative solutions, effectively resolving customer issues and promoting an agile culture within your team.

Staying current with the latest developments in the field will establish you as the subject matter expert required for this role.

You will be required to meet these essential requirements:

  • Hold a Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in a relevant discipline OR equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrate your ability to motivate and build team capabilities in product and process knowledge, systems, practices and techniques to achieve high levels of services delivery and customer experience standard
  • Demonstrate your practical knowledge of systems, technology and practices to manage customer service/ administrative type activities and resourcing across variant work volumes, specialisations and channels

Highly Desirable

  • Advanced proficiency with Office 365 applications
  • Previous experience with managing a team in a high-volume environment
  • Experience hosting or assisting in hosting events
  • Confidence in presenting to groups
