About the role

TAFE NSW is looking for individuals with current industry experience and knowledge in School Based Education Support to join our team of teachers at TAFE Digital, Strathfield. Delivery is online and working flexibly arrangements may be considered to work from other locations, and as required attend the Strathfield Campus. 

As a dedicated educator at TAFE NSW, you will play a pivotal role in assisting, mentoring, and enriching the learning journey. Through the delivery of educational programs and facilitating the acquisition of education support qualifications, you will inspire students by sharing your expertise and passion for the industry. 

About You

We would love to hear from you if you can meet the following selection criteria: 

  1. Minimum Certificate IV in School Based Education and Care  

  1. Have a minimum of two (2) years post-qualification experience in the industry in a regulated school-based education or primary/secondary service, gained no longer than 5 years previously, or equivalent demonstrable currency. 

  1. Hold a Certificate IV TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent. 

  1. Be willing to continue to develop your Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency and trainer/assessor competence. 

Desirable: 

Bachelor of Education (Primary or Secondary)
