About the role

We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Electrotechnology and Electrical Engineering students at TAFE Digital!  

Share your skills and passion for your industry, build the skills, qualifications, and employability, and support the career goals of our online students. 

In the role you will have sound and up-to-date knowledge of your subject areas, reflecting current industry practice to construct and guide the educative process.  You will deliver online/blended and face to face teaching and assessment.  To achieve learner outcomes that match evolving industries, we need people with the right skills and expertise.  We value our people, and recognise them for their industry-aligned capabilities, and they are empowered to thrive in an evolving environment.

About You

Have appropriate subject knowledge, skills, industry experience and:

  • Hold a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
  • Hold a valid NSW Qualified Supervisor’s Certificate - Electrical (Electrician’s Licence).
  • Hold a Diploma of Electrical Engineering or Higher.
  • Hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent. 
  • Have a minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications.
  • Demonstrated high level of digital literacy, including the ability to support online learners, and using a variety of digital platforms.
  • Be prepared to continue to develop your Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency and trainer/assessor competence. 
  • Demonstrated high-level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to be proactive and show initiative and ability to explain ideas in a clear and concise manner.
