Package $178,647, includes a base salary of $158,152 plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

About the role

TAFE NSW is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to help drive its reporting and analytics capability and champion best practices across the organisation. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering enterprise-grade BI solutions that support strategic goals and enhance service delivery.

The Lead BI Analyst will lead a team of analysts and report developers responsible for delivering complex business intelligence solutions and improving the data driven capabilities at TAFE NSW. This role has a strong customer service focus and will be pivotal in furthering the analytics skillset within the team and the organisation.   As a leader you will guide and mentor the data analytics team and champion best practice across the broader data teams at TAFE NSW.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:-

  1. Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
  2. Detailed experience and broad expertise in BI design and development using the Microsoft data and analysis suite and/or BI tools including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Microsoft Azure Synapse.

Highly Regarded

  • Experience in progressing data capabilities from pure reporting to analysis and insights.
  • Proven stakeholder management experience.
  • Active in your own life long learning journey, remaining current in your chosen field.
