About the role

We have an exciting permanent part time opportunity for a creative and motivated individual with current industry knowledge and experience in Health to join our Dubbo team as an Education Support Officer (ESO).

Working within a team of Health professionals, the Education Support Officer is supervised by the Head Teacher. The role is responsible for a range of activities which support learners and enhances the student learning experience.

Note: This role does not teach or prepare lessons or resources and does not deliver training nor undertake assessment.

About You

We are looking for motivated and engaged individuals who have the ability to meet the following Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification of a Diploma of Nursing or relevant health related qualification or equivalent skills and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in the Health Industry (two years +)
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining technical currency
  • Ability to understand Health, Wellbeing and Community Services learning materials and assessment processes
  • Commitment and ability to support and motivate students in an adult learning environment
  • Skills in the use of relevant information and communication technologies (intermediate level desired)
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with diverse individuals
