$141,364 package includes salary ($124,547 - $137,476), employer’s superannuation and annual leave loading (pro-rata)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated individual to cover a period of maternity leave as a Cyber Security Analyst between November 2025 and July 2026.

Within the Cyber Security Operations Team, you will play a critical role in safeguarding systems and data across a dynamic and dispersed environment. This position involves proactive monitoring, incident response, vulnerability assessments, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure robust security practices.

You’ll be part of a supportive, close-knit team that values collaboration and has each other’s backs—no one works alone. The role includes participation in a rotating on-call roster (one week in four), covering 24/7 support including nights and weekends. Your work will directly contribute to the safety and resilience of TAFE NSW’s digital infrastructure, supporting its mission to skill the workforce of the future.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Significant experience monitoring, analysing and addressing technology systems security threats and incidents and implementing protective controls.
  • Availability to be on-call to meet operational requirements.

 Highly Regarded:

  • Demonstrated experience in cyber security covering incident and vulnerability management
