$74,816 - $82,583 package includes salary ($66,212 - $73,085) plus superannuation and leave loading

About the role

Join the team at the Institute of Applied Technology as a Customer Service Representative, where you will provide exceptional, customer-focused service to students both in the classroom and virtually. This is a key administrative role which enhances the student experience ensuring a smooth pathway to course completion. Assisting with enrolments, guiding students with information on class times and supporting attendance are some of the daily, customer focussed tasks of this role. 

You will be required to operate on a rotating roster on weekdays (work hours 12pm – 8pm), as well as some occasional times outside of standard business hours on Saturdays (approx. 1 per month). There may be flexibility to work from home one day a week as agreed. 

There are 2 x temporary full time positions upto June 2026 available and will be based at TAFE Meadowbank Campus. 

About You 

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual with a proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and articulate presentations to students. You will demonstrate strong presentation skills, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting learning both over the phone and in the virtual classroom. Your enthusiasm for engaging with people in online classes to support students remotely, is essential. You are approachable, confident, and proactive in contacting students, who are typically more mature learners. You are flexible in your approach, leveraging your previous experience in a high-volume service sector or customer support role.  

You’re able to demonstrate proficiency in technology, including MS Office, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
