Liverpool, Miller, Wetherill Park, Granville & Blacktown Campus’

5 x Temporary Part Time positions up to 19th December 2025, 17.5 hours per week

$100,478.15 package includes salary ($88,922.00), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (pro-rata).

About the Role

An Assessor is a rewarding and dynamic educational role in the most celebrated education institutions in NSW. The Assessor will carry out Initial, Pretraining and Progressive assessments for our AMEP and SEE programs. You may also conduct independent assessments and grading with a focus to support students in achieving the completion of tasks. You will work within a team of industry professionals in an engaging environment. We have positions available at our Liverpool, Miller, Wetherill Park, Granville & Blacktown Campus’ and you may need to travel to nearby Campus’ as needed.

About You 

You are a passionate and engaged individual who holds relevant qualifications and experience in Educational Pathways and adult education.

You have a customer focused approach, with demonstrated experience in establishing relationships with and providing exceptional customer service to diverse individuals.

You pride yourself on your exceptional communication skills and your ability to facilitate adult learning. Crucially, you are someone who shares the TAFE NSW Values of Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence and Customer First.

We are looking for passionate and motivated individuals who have the ability to meet the following Essential Requirements:

  • Hold an Australian undergraduate degree or equivalent and a post graduate TESOL Qualification in adult education.
  • TAE 40122 or TAE40116 or TAE40110 including TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and conduct assessments, validations and moderations in the VET environment. 
  • Understanding of the content of learning materials and the processes used in the discipline area and a commitment to maintain professional currency 
  • Commitment and ability to provide feedback in an adult learning environment and a demonstrated ability to motivate and encourage students 

Highly Desirable

  • Experience in Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy (LLND) teaching and assessing
