Base salary of $66,212 - $73,085 plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

TAFE NSW Eora is a culturally safe and community-connected space. It acts as a second chance establishment for both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people. Supported by dedicated staff, Aboriginal Elders, and community members who are proud of its services, our Eora campus is one-of-a-kind. Specialising in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education and training, TAFE NSW Eora is dedicated to empowering Indigenous communities. We offer a diverse range of courses across a variety of industries, and welcome students from all backgrounds.

The Education Administration Support is responsible for supporting Head Teachers and their team of world class teachers with administrative duties on a day-to-day basis. They regularly resolve student’s questions and sustain teachers and students on campus throughout the semester. This is a Permanent full-time opportunity based onsite at our beautiful EORA, Redfern Campus within the Creative Cultural and Experience Service faculty. Flexible working arrangements such as work from home may be negotiable for the successful candidate.

About You 

Your keen eye for detail will help you thrive in this dynamic administrative role, providing vital support across travel arrangements, general administration, and events.

Your ability to confidently work autonomously and your proficiency in administrative tasks will help you to succeed in this role. Additionally, you will have the following:

  • Aboriginality (Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act of 1977).
  • Certificate III in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of high-quality administrative support and ability to work with a range of complex administrative and corporate systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing systems and processes to support efficient operations.

Experience with EBS or classroom-based experience is desirable but not essential.
