Temporary part-time (14 hours per week) until 31 December 2026

$108,542 - $128,724 salary package - includes base salary ($95,630 - $113,411), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (pro-rata)

About the role

We’re looking for passionate educators to shape the future of Community Services! At TAFE NSW, you’ll have the opportunity to share your expertise in areas such as case management, social support, and community development with students who are eager to make a real difference in people’s lives. You’ll guide learners through practical, hands-on training that equips them with the skills and confidence to provide essential services to individuals, families, and communities.

Your role will be pivotal in helping students achieve nationally recognised qualifications that open doors to meaningful careers in sectors such as aged care, disability support, youth work, and community engagement. By mentoring and inspiring the next generation of professionals, you’ll contribute to building stronger, more inclusive communities across NSW.

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess:

• A Degree or Diploma level qualification in a Community Services related field with a commitment to maintain technical currency
• Have a minimum of five years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously
• Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training. See the candidate support document (here) for details
• Be prepared to continue to develop your Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency and trainer/assessor competence
